What a DAY!!! We’re not done yet – and Elivette Day has lived up to the hype and then some! We’ve been checking on the internet chatter…and y’all want MORE older wines with perfect provenance! Wise folks, how could I ever let you down…and this 2003 just SLAPS!
Zsa Zsa Gabor, Will Smith, Joan Crawford, Cher – this falls in line with some all-time great SLAPS heard round the world. Sultry cherries and blackberries explode out the bottle, with all the perfectly integrated baking spice notes of vanilla, clove, black pepper, and seductively sweet essence of roasted sage leaves. The heat of the 2003 vintage makes this ripe and fruit-forward, yet the always reliable acidity and structure of Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon have this pulsing with life and vivacity!
