DANG, MAN! I’ve been selling wine on the Internet for 20 years, and you just never get rockstar deals like this from Penfolds. BEST DEAL OF THE MONTH? The year, perhaps? There’s simply no one who doesn’t love this wine. It just DELIVERS the goods big time, and in 2018 it’s arguably the finest ever (huge critical acclaim, too, as you can see).
Anyway, sorry - so, first made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend from Barossa Valley that is ALWAYS a rich, savory, finely balanced, robust red with NO HARD EDGES. Blue fruits, spiced wine, silky and fine, with deep flavors, huge length and tons of warm spice. Just outrageous at our price, guys, c’mon!!!
