Orison Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2019

Y’all! Friends, enthusiasts, HARDCORE Cab Lovers! We’ve been rocking and rolling all day – but you know we ain’t stopping until the sun goes down (in Hawaii)!

PRITCHARD HILL. Yes…the one, the only, the most legendary “lieu-dit” in Napa Valley – Colgin, Bryant, Continuum, BRAND, David Arthur, Chappellet, and MORE! This is the unquestioned Rodeo Drive of Napa Valley, where estate Cabernet bottles typically sell for $250 – $700 a POP! Not today!!! Under $50, with all estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon (plus 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot) from the Gandonna estate on Pritchard Hill…this Orison Cabernet Sauvignon is one for the all-time Last Bottle deal section – and one for the fastest fingers on the interwebs!!! Vanilla and lilacs pull you into the glass with vigor, where you dance a fully Bacchanal jig of blackberries, and cherries, with crushed raspberries interspersed with heady elements of leather and tobacco, black pepper, and earthy black truffle-y goodness. This is built to last – but at this price – just make sure you get enough to pop a couple bottles a year for the next decade!

(And don’t expect to find Pritchard Hill on the label – my girl, Carissa Chappellet, would be all over that like my golden retriever on a piece of leftover bacon! You’re gonna have to trust me…and the winery website.)
