Soft, seductive, and chocolate-y, with a delicate red fruit note that goes from cherries, to raspberries, to almost tropical sensations of dragonfruit. It’s beautifully balanced with impressive brightness and a cooling limestone and slate minerality that really extends the finish. The 2013 was all about beastly power, while this beauty is understated elegance — not shy by any means, and with plenty of structure and strength — just arranged in a regal and stately way. Dare I invoke the spirit of Audrey Hepburn's Princess Ann of Coravia from Roman Holiday?! Yes…I think that fits rather nicely.
