Dang, Gina! 95 POINT White Bordeaux?! 100% old-vine sauvignon blanc, and a truly melon-twisting, ultra-no-brainer-for-goodness-sake price!! We DON’T have enough - best go go go!
I’ll be honest. I walked in here this morning not knowing what the heck we were offering today. But, on my desk, dripping with shiny, magic, pearly drops of ice cold water, was a bucket with this bottle of Chateau Haut Bertinerie just straight CHILLING in it, and my day improved dramatically from there, oh yes!! LIFE IS GOOD, people! Can we say “Chateau Haut Bertinerie gives you wings!”? Guessing not. Anyway, it does, and the flavors and sheer electricity and zipzagging zestiness is a cool drink of mountain stream water, oh yes, good for the soul!
This is fermented in oak, and has a touch of that hedonistic richness along with the spicy, zippy citrus and pure, clean, stone fruit and lemon/lime...mmm! Feels like something WAY pricier even than the original price. Heck, read the 95-POINT review below and you’ll see where we’re coming from!! But do it quick...we never get enough white Bordeaux!! OK, off to make a sandwich and finish that bottle --- have a great day!
